The playschool Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday 22nd January 2014 at 7.30pm and will be held at playschool. Playschool is a registered charity run by a committee of parents and carers and this event is an important part of the process that ensures playschool continues to run.

All parents as members are invited to attend the AGM and participate in the vote. We need as many parents as possible to attend to ensure that we comply with legal requirements and to move forward important decisions.

The purpose of the AGM is to:

• Allow all members to hear feedback from the Committee on the finances, achievements and work of playschool over the year.
• To elect the committee for the next year.
• To make any changes to the constitution (the rules by which playschool runs)

You could also find out about ways you could get involved with playschool if you have any spare time; from helping out with fundraising to being on the Emergency Cover list.

Sadly, we always struggle to achieve the required number of parents at this important event, without enough attendees playschool would have to close!! Please give up half an hour of your time, enjoy a glass of wine or tea/coffee and help ensure playschool continues.
